English: Tübingen Hafengasse 6 (then Hotel Prinz Karl) where Alois Alzheimer - who first described the brain- and memory-damaging "Alzheimer's disease" - lived as a student in 1886/87. The German text graffiti below the memorial plaque ironically means: Alois, we will never forget you!
Deutsch: In Tübingen Hafengasse 6 (damals Hotel Prinz Karl) wohnte Alois Alzheimer als Student 1886/87. Das Graffiti unter der Gedenktafel nimmt ironisch Bezug auf die von ihm zuerst beschriebene, das Gehirn und Gedächtnis schädigende Erkrankung "Alzheimersche Krankheit".
