English: A ten member team led by Cdr Satyabrata Dam (03313-R) was flagged off by Hon’ble RURM on 10 Mar 08. The delegation reached the destination (North Pole) on 9 April 2008 at 2016 hrs (IST). The expedition a established the following records:

First organisation in the world to reach all the three poles (Mt Everest, South Pole & North Pole). First Indian team to ski to geographic North Pole. First Indian team to ski to both poles.

First Indians (Cdr S Dam, Rakesh Kumar POM (retd) & Vikas Kumar POM) to do all the three poles.

The data provider(s) are not liable for any errors or omissions, and will not under any circumstances be liable for any loss, injury or damage caused by its use.
