Alamuru is a village in the Alamuru mandal in the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[2]

History[edit | edit source]

Konaseema district was one of the thirteen new districts formed on 4 April 2022.[3][4][5]According to the Gazette Notification No. 1156 dated 2 August 2022, Konaseema District was renamed as Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Konaseema District.[6]

Alamuru is located at 16°47′00″N 81°54′00″E / 16.7833°N 81.9000°E / 16.7833; 81.9000.[7] It has an average elevation of 1 meter (6 feet).
