Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector - 25 is a metro station extension for Airport Express Line servicing the India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC).[1] It is an underground station located within the IICC perimeters. Trials on this line started on 26 June 2022.[2] It was inaugurated on 17 September 2023 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC).[3]
Although Gate no. 1 of Yashobhoomi metro station is situated inside the Centre, the distance walk from gate to platform is taken via a 735 meter long corridor, taking about 5-8 minutes to reach the platform. Full public access to enter IICC via this gate is granted only during any conventions and exhibition events, otherwise closed.[4][5] The nearest and direct entry/exit gate is via Gate no. 6.
The metro station is located close to the border of Delhi and Gurugram, and is the primary access point for the South Dwarka locality in Gurguram, located 5 kilometres south of Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector-25 metro station.
